Part 4

The ice covered field sung as a man in a tuxedo walked onto the field holding a microphone, “Today is a great day the semi final of the ichijoji enterprises tournament. My name is Takato, a digimon tamer like you all, but only a select few of you have made it this far.
SO ENJOY!!!” shouted the man
Ziku sat there cheering, whilst Tora was munching down two bread sticks, “will all finalist please report to there designated prep rooms” shouted a commentator, Ziku and Tora stood up and left the stands making there way through a corridor,
“ZIKU!” shouted a voice, and turned around to see a rushed looking Ry, I…uh got this for Tora , he pulled a small sheathed sword type object out from his back-pack and hand it to Tora, who gave  Ry a strange look , then started gnawing the end of the hilt.
“It’s a kendo stick, I can’t tell you who your coming up against, but he’s fast and follows bushidou, the way of the samurai, but I know you can beat him” said Ry reassuring Ziku. Ry hugged her tightly and ran to the stands.
Ziku blushed and froze, as Ry was walking away. Tora nudged Ziku multiple times to get her out of the daze. She suddenly awoke and started running to the prep rooms.
As Ziku pulled open her door she saw an irritated Keikai, “What were you doing your match is in 4 minutes” Nagged keikai. “Ok I’m here as you guide so yer, the field is ice obviously, and your opponent is fast as I told Ry to tell you, but there is a pool of  water underneath the ice, If you can heat it Tora will be able to take care of this guy quickly, but only use the kendo stick to attack. This is all I’m allowed to tell you” Keikai said then smiling.
He walked out shutting the door, Tora suddenly barged out of the room, “Tora!!” shouted Ziku.
As Ziku ran out into the empty corridor she saw Tora attempting to eat Keikai, so far Tora had made his way to fitting Keikai entire head inside his mouth. Ziku quickly grabbed Tora’s tail yanking him off keikai’s head.
Tora started crying “Ahhh, it tasted so good, head taste like strawberrymelon except hat taste like waffles” Said Tora in a winning tone.
Keikai wiped the slobber off his face and started running and shouting “GOOD LUCK ZIKU”     

Ziku and Tora stood there at the coliseum entrance, looking over the field, I hope that study will pay off I may not be able to digivolve, but I can employ ancient techniques.
A boy across the other side of the field stood his Digimon beside him “Swiftmon you ready?” Questioned the boy, “At your word, Kaze sir”

On the view screen an intro played showing both there battles so far, the two opposing tamers seemed evenly matched, then a voice came into view and the crowd started to roar, “This is it the semi-final of a life time, before the winner faces the mystery champion of the tournament, which tickets are available now!”  Spoke the announcer
“Now Kaze, The sonic wind versus Ziku Apollo’s guard…. LET THE BATTLE BEGIN” he said as the two Digimon ran out onto the field but suddenly Tora stoped and there was no sign of Swiftmon, Tora gaped around but suddenly a harsh wind engulfed Tora, “hey bud” said a voice, Tora kept looking around, suddenly the wind stopped and swift was directly above Tora “6 shuriken strike” shouted the Digimon still soaring through the air, the 6 deadly stars seemed to have a life of their own they chased Tora across the field. Tora’s body was getting tired, three of the six Shuriken were already lunged in his back, he had to try the plan, and he looked over to Ziku giving her signal to begin the plan. “Digimodify, Accelerate and target visor” she then hurled the two cards towards Tora the cards dissolved as they hit Tora’s back. Suddenly the two Digimon were at the same speed Tora shot into the sky, the target visor locked onto the most easily heated areas in the ice, “Triple Pyro sphere” roared Tora as the balls of fire hit the ice, as Tora landed the steam rose, this was the time for Tora to strike and end this confrontation, before the audience could identify were the two were, they heard the attack “METEOR SLICE!” as the steamed cleared Swiftmon was lying there motionless, Kaze ran onto the field “Swiftmon speak to me” panted Kaze.
“Did I do good Kaze…” he asked almost without the will to talk.
“You did awesome bud” he said smiling.
Ziku made her way to Kaze with Tora, “Wow you really are the sonic wind luckily I studied those cards, you fought awesome how bout you join my friends and I at our motel room in east central.” Ziku handed him the address, smiling

The day went on and a small party began at the motel…
“So who do you think that mystery Digimon and Tamer are anyway?” asked keikai , suddenly there was a knock on the door, “come in” said Ziku, door opened and a familiar face walked in, “Hi Ziku” said Kaze.
